Hymenoplasty (Hymen Repair)/ Virginity Surgery
Hymen reconstruction surgery, also known as hymen surgery, hymenoplasty surgery or hymen restoration, is the surgical repair of the hymen. Using a surgical technique, the torn edges of the hymen are put back together. If done correctly, to the visible eye, there is no apparent scarring and the hymen appears intact.
The procedure takes only 30 minutes in the operating room and the hospital stay is only 3-4 hours. The procedure is normally done in local anaesthesia. At GNH Hospital this surgery is being done by renowned Cosmetic Surgeon Dr Shilpi Bhadani.
Types of procedure
•Basic stitching of a recently torn hymen.
•Typically handled days ahead of the wedding night, there’s the option of creating a bloodless membrane.
•The hymen takes about one week to heal completely. The patient has to meet the Cosmetic Surgeon once after 4 days of the surgery so that the surgeon can ensure that everything is fine and there is no infection at the surgical site. Intercourse can take place safely after 2 weeks of the surgery. The best time to get this surgery is 15-20 days before the wedding night. However if you have more time it would be even better.
Cost of the procedure
We understand that the payment for this surgery is mostly done by the girl without involving her family and therefore the cost is very reasonable. This surgery costs INR 35000-45000 depending upon the amount of suturing that needs to be done.
